Buses to Tartu leave from the long distance bus stop in front of the airport every hour from 7 am to 8 pm and at 11 pm.
Visit http://www.tpilet.ee/en for the schedule. Enter "Lennujaam (Tallinn, Harjumaa)" as the start location and "Tartu" as the destination.
Tickets can be purchased from the bus driver or 15 days in advance online.
When buying a ticket online, please be sure to enter "Lennujaam (Tallinn, Harjumaa)" (airport bus stop) as the start location (not just “Tallinn”), because not all the buses going to Tartu drive through the airport.
NB! We recommend to buy the ticket in advance, especially if you are arriving around 5 pm and 6 pm, as the buses might be full.
The organisers also strongly suggest to prebook a ticket for your journey back to Tallinn for Friday afternoon, because buses tend to be crowded on Fridays.
However, please note that a ticket purchased for a specific journey is valid only for the journey which it was sold for and cannot be used for a bus leaving on a different time.
Transport will be arranged for participants arriving to Tallinn on Tuesday evening later than 8 pm. The organisers will contact the participants arriving after 8 pm for further details.
Arriving through Tartu Airport
Take the AirportShuttle to reach the city.
AirportShuttle minibus departs from the airport approximately 15 minutes after the arrival of a flight, and will wait for all passengers who need transport. Passengers are driven to the address in Tartu they request.
